A New Adventure

From a tiny apartment in a Portland, OR suburb to a little 4 acre farm. It has been a long, long, seriously you have no idea how long, road. But we finally did it, we made the leap and signed the papers. I can't truly express how excited I am to begin this adventure.

This city girl has gone country. Though I've never really enjoyed being a city girl, it is really easy to get comfortable to all of the easy access. This will probably one of the most challenging things for me to get used to. Going from being 5min from a grocery store or great little restaurant to 40min to town and the closest restaurant is the Shucky Darn Kitchen (I hear they make a mean mac and cheese). But that's only one small part of everything that is going to change.

So although there will be exhaustion, pain, and maybe a few curse words, this property is a dream come true. I can't wait to share the ups and the downs as my family takes on this new adventure.
